Everything and anything for sale plus can purchase raffle tickets for gift certificates/items. PLUS 4 ISU game tickets with balcony pass to ISU suite, parking pass, food & beverage to silent bid on!! Come, have fun, food will be served, and help this family meet financial demands.

CKC Scrapbook Convention (Arts and Crafts)

Scrapbookers from around the region are coming to Des Moines to attend the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention (CKC) July 9-10, 2010 at the Polk Convention Center. They’ll participate in classes, work on projects throughout the evening at crops, and enjoy shopping at a variety of vendors. This is CKC’s first year in Des Moines and organizers anticipate thousands of crafters in attendance. In addition to spending time scrapbooking, attendees will be bringing supplies to donate to the Des Moines Unified School District. We’ll provide a drop off box at the Information Desk and encourage attendees to bring products they no longer use, have extra, or just want to share. These products will then be donated to the Des Moines Unified School District to be used in classrooms throughout the district. We’ve found that scrappers are very generous and we appreciate the opportunity to share with schools.
